Read about rain forest conservation by Dr. Karubian's grp "Project Ecuador" & register for Field Tropical Bio & Conservation in May to see Chocó for yourself! (Shout out to Kaushik Narasimhan a PhD student in Dr. Karubian's lab shown center in the photo!)

We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of Dr. Bruce Fleury. He will always be remembered as one of the most beloved professors in EEB - if not all of Tulane. His engaging, educational and down right entertaining lectures were truly a work of genius.

  15. Student fav Dr. Bruce Fleury has a new Great Courses lecture series, complete with the mind-blowing science & hilarious quips that he's known for. And this is particularly special because the subject is his personal all-time favorite: birds. Check it out!

  17. This Woodhouse's toad was spotted in the Central Carrollton neighborhood recently. Thanks to EEB instructor Dr. Julia Sonn for IDing it. She says finding a toad is very auspicious - so we can thank this little guy for the 4 missed kicks in the Saints squeaker of a win yesterday
