annotated cross section of a mated SMA connector pair. this annotation barely scratches the surface because there are a lot of very subtle design features that you'd need a whole class to cover.pic.twitter.com/2ejmd3fRdV
U tweetove putem weba ili aplikacija drugih proizvođača možete dodati podatke o lokaciji, kao što su grad ili točna lokacija. Povijest lokacija tweetova uvijek možete izbrisati. Saznajte više

Interesting is that fact the dimension changes from the wire to the connector is make like a step, .... It makes a step changes in impedances M'I right ?
impedance is constant 50 ohms, the hard line uses a different dielectric. also the conductor is a different diameter than the center pin.
would be great to do SMA + 3.5mm + 2.92mm RF connector mating next, to show compatibility yet differences.
great but also expensive
Be interesting to take some measurements. The RF impedance is determined by the ratio of inner and outer conductor radius. Theoretically can determine if a 50ohm or 75ohm connector. But brilliant work as always. Thanks.
Impedance also depends on the dielectric constant of the insulation.
Do a PL-259/SO-239 in comparison.
