thinking about it some more this morning, i made a simple mod and got regular DOS programs to use color MDA.pic.twitter.com/PbgdL2s7yN

this mod just aliases the MDA video memory up into 0xB8000 as well as 0xB0000. the higher address is where programs expect to find video memory for color cards.

there aren't any, i invented it this morning.
i just removed U51 pin 1 from its pad, then tied the pin to ground.
