So much respect for @VP — what a rough position to be on.
Don't forget the last 4 years he also perpetuated the nonsense that got us here. Just because he's decided this is too far, does not make him a good person. This is almost literally the least he is required to do in his position.

I know, and I know he’s likely jumping ship for his future, but I felt sincerity in his comments. I almost felt as if he regrets getting himself into this mess and accepting VP under Trump.

I think many of them regret it at this point. We're finally seeing some republicans step up and condemn the president which is a good step. It's taken this to get there, though. The bar has been lowered quite a bit lol
