Just these two things would speed up tournaments dramatically. We're also looking at our own policies, procedures and tech to see how we can improve things for everyone. I'm open to suggestions for what else we can do!

The issue of tournaments taking too long is very real. We're looking into what we can do to help on our end but there are things you can do to help too. Report your losses. Admins spend a lot of time verifying wins. Report when teams noshow. We don't know if you don't tell us.

I feel like there needs to be set in stone rules, different admins handle situations differently. I have had admins let opponents have an extra hour, and I’ve had admins forfeit opponents after 10 mins.

Yeah, there should be set times that indicate a forfeit or not. Sure, things happen on short notice and whatnot, but to be frank that's not something that should hold a bunch of other people back. Not only that, as far as I know most people being late have no good reason

Shorten the no show time to 5 mins with 15 even if you get a ref they get an extra 5 plus time in chat which is 5 or 10 or more so 15 turns into an hour. If you're capable of joining a tourney you should be capable of getting the match going ASAP

To me it seems like the obvious thing to do is implement a rule that if a team is holding up a tournament in any capacity and they’re found to be in a different tournament it’s an auto ff.
