See his video op-ed with his father on why life without parole is not making us safer.https://www.nytimes.com/2021/06/16/opinion/louisiana-criminal-justice-reform.html?smid=fb-share&fbclid=IwAR3Qmy3JUI2VJ0P05zhCHGKSVN0rDcMJaB9oCJbzKPCAeyUrO5X9u-32b54 …

In this land of
#MassIncarceration the average american commits three felonies a day, thanks to the brutally cruel and incoherent nature of our#PoliceState. Awfully brave words from someone who's species is inherently illegalhttps://www.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424052748704471504574438900830760842 …2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -
3 felonies a day that probably don’t result in anyone’s death. Sorry, Chesa’s parents deserved what they got.

That is so mean. People make mistakes. We have more people in prison than any other country. We are a fearful, unforgiving society that keeps us from seeing the social, economic, and moral costs of incarceration and lifelong punishment.https://bit.ly/3zKG7mS

Next time you take out your cell phone in public, remember: the only reason the guy next to you doesn't punch you in the face and steal it is the deterrent effect of law enforcement. I'm ok with the worst 1% of society being behind bars.

No, the worst never go to prison. The war criminals who lie to us to get our consent for unjust illegal wars that kill millions of people. The corporate elites that knowingly poison communities, use child slave labor, causing pain, death and destruction for profit.
