    When Cotyledon leaves appear it means your young plant has used its reserves and is looking for nutrients with its roots. This is why fertilizer's important, even for Microgreens! It's vital in the last days of their growth, especially if using a hydroponic medium

    Here’s the follow-up on our Tuesday Tips post. We used Micro Mat Confetti to grow Green Pea shoots. The pea shoots were slow growing (due to the drop in temperatures in these parts) but they grew steady and strong!

    Will Radicchio Micro? . . . Yes! We haven’t tasted it yet, but after about a week and a half, it looks great—the cotyledon leaves are very similar to Little Gem Lettuce. We’ll do a taste test on Friday, but we’ll let it grow on as long as possible!
