He is under treatment, they're trying something that may shrink things a bit. But it won't get rid of it. It's not going away anymore.

You guys have been pretty great about the whole sending good vibes when Dad's been in the hospital, so more of those would be great.

I'm not really sure where life is going right now, because it's been...a flurry of appointments and stuff for the past week.

But I'm still trying to be a relentless force of optimism, because...I can't really be anything else. I get that from him I think.

I don't really want I'm sorry's, because I appreciate them, but they don't...do anything. Instead, here's what I'd like, if it's ok:

Go out and help someone with something. Doesn't matter what it is. Helpers are heroes, the world can use lots more of those.

Call your family, whatever that means for you. Tell them you love them, give them a hug. Because you never know how long they'll be around.

My dad is kind of Superman to me. Who knows, he may unicorn us all and live forever, I wouldn't be surprised if he did.
