I'm not defending anything here (or saying it's bad either), but I think it's a weird habit we've picked up of all sitting down to watch an ending of something and then say "There wasn't enough build-up" after we specifically didn't play through the buildup

I kind of wish data mining and leaking didn’t exist. I haven’t stepped foot in this raid yet - maybe I won’t, based on what I now know. It could be the most beautiful well thought instance ever and that ending would still just be as underwhelming.
At least I can still dive back into Classic, stream some WCIII and hope for the best in Shadowlands. Now I have a fear that zero lessons will be learned and Shadowlands would be prey to the same MEH that seems to have permeated Blizz. That makes me sad.
