@PyromancerSarg I may not be remembering something in the WC3 story, but you clearly see Illidan summoning the Naga in one of the games cinematics :)

@PyromancerSarg Sargeras made Illidan. N’zoth made the Naga. In WC3, Illidan knew precisely how to summon/call them to join his army. Was this because Illidan knew the Naga were once NEs? Or is this more evidence of a possible unknown pact between Sarg & N’zoth?
