Hi internet Not you new followers, you guys are here because I put together something funny, please feel free to ignore the next few bits, I'll get back to funny again at some point here but I have to not be right now This is for the people who've stuck around a while

Although he doesn't really ~understand~ it all, Dad has very much appreciated that the internet has apparently been very kind as far as sending nice thoughts and juju and everything over the last year or so, and you guys have been very kind about it all

So I feel like I should probably let you all know - Monday, dad decided it was time to go into hospice care. The house was kind of a flurry of very nice people all week, and Friday Dad was ferreted out of the house and to somewhere where they can take very good care of him.

He's in good spirits - as well as they can be, given the circumstances - and he's in good hands, and they are doing as much as they can do to make sure he's feeling as good as he can.

(This includes having sundaes for dinner, because why the hell not.)
