1/ There's an argument that professions are technically more complex now than pre-wod, it's just the rewards aren't nearly as impactful. Personally I think if profs are going to become a major thing again it'll be through creating unique cosmetic gear ...
Agreed. I honestly think it’s time for @Warcraft to take the ESO route and open up all professions to everyone. No more “pick two”. Learn as many as you want and add a crap ton more cosmetic/vanity items. If they are worried about balance, remove balance entirely.
