Essentially, they don’t seem to have a finger to the pulse of the community, which leads to them always playing defense, rather than taking pre-emptive control over a situation. The downside as felt by players is a general lack of knowing what is going on.

It's hard to take someone's pulse when they are swinging their fists wildly at you every time you get close. I'm not defending Blizzard's communication overall, I am though unable to get upset by this. And I'm trying, honestly. I'm stabbing a fork into my arm but it's not working

Uh. If you are trying to be upset then I think you are doing it wrong - I don’t think action should ever be inspired by that? At the very least, that’s fundamentally misunderstanding how I engage with this stuff.

It's pretty hard to work out what is a joke and what isn't - I don't think it helps clarity. That'd be totally different irl ofc. Tone didn't really seem very clear on my end. I'd rather you explained how I was missing your point - learning that is why I'm chatting after all!
