I'm not saying Sylvans's actions MADE Saurfang honorable, I'm saying they facilitated the great story he's getting now - He needs something to have a crisis of honour about, after all.

Does he? Do we need a second round of figuring out that the Horde is not its warchief? Do we need someone who's soul motivation is to stay alive to start a war? If time breaks all bonds, what's the point?

I think we're overlooking the fact that Sylvanas' narrative might be quite fucked up. She's experienced so many shattering moments that she's obviously not going to act rationally always. She's reaching for ways to defend her people and justifying it in her head.

I think this could lead to an interesting story because we're really overlooking how similar Jaina and Sylvanas are. I think both are characters who will go to the extreme to defend their people, justifying it by saying ends justify the means.

Sylv doing what ever it takes is not out of character, not sure where people get that from.Sylv doing dumb things like walking away from the kill of malfurion and burning the tree rather then keeping the hostages, that's where the questions are raised.Plot ofc, but plot can be bett

Sylvanas ordered her top general - one of only 2 people she trusted with the real Dark shore invasion plan - to kill a prone Malfurion. I don't think that's unreasonable or stupid personally.

I think it is when you know someone like Saurfang is all about that honor and killing Malfurion was apperantly such a key to your plans, you had to burn down a tree and turn everyone against you to fix it.

Well you say that Nobs but he had JUST stabbed Malfy in the back with his axe. I can see why Sylvanas could assume he was on-side at that moment.

He did and then he blabbered on about how 'dishonorable' it was... I mean...sure we need malf to keep on kicking but from Sylvs pov, too just walk away? And write it off as over confidence...Come onnnn

Anyone considered these are tests, to test the resolve of her soldiers. Remember, Vol'jin still made her warchief with the promise that she will save us all.

Why The Loa told Vol’jin to make Sylvanas Warchief is going to be an interesting discovery. Especially if we find out that some of the Loa have been corrupted by an Old God. Getting Sylvie in command would certainly aid their overall plans...
