(Light Spoilers) Fight me - If it wasn't for Anduin, the Desolate Council would have eventually brought social change to the Undercity, allowing citizens to "retire" and embrace a final death (which is all they were asking for). #thanksanduin

Semantics. The bottom line is you have one leader trying to reach out and make peace and co-exist and you have another who simply isn't interested in peace or co-existence . Those are the motivations, the rest are details.

But the details are what's interesting! I think I'm in a strong position to say that Anduin wants to impress his version of peace by forcing his beliefs onto a young civilization and destabilizing it from within. It's spin but I don't think it's inaccurate

Bit he doesn't impress anything? He simply tries to facilitate. Sylvanas is the only one who imposes her will on preceedings.

Correct. Calia and parqual independently mucked up that possibility. If not for them we would either see a forsaken cultural revolution or the sacking of sw from within. Can you tell I like what if scenarios

Ok here's a what if... If the tables had been turned, would Anduin have done the same thing? If humans had started running toward the Forsaken camp with their loved ones, would he have murdered them where they stood? (And the one that WEREN'T trying to run)

She would have “assumed” they were attacking, murdered them and then raised them. No way Anduin lifts a hand until it’s too late...
