I had the absolute joy of editing some flavor-text for this game. I'd urge anyone that enjoys horror, point and clicks, or puzzles to wishlist it! #VisualNovel | #VNDev

The Steam page for our horror manga inspired game Mycorrhiza is now up! We would really appreciate it if you would wishlist it, even if you have already purchased it on itch, to boost it in Steam's algorithm! store.steampowered.com/app/2128560/My #ScreenShotSaturday | #VisualNovel | #VNDev

Soul Hackers is already the worst SMT I've played for many reasons. The fact it's getting a sequel was bad enough to wake up to. Tokyo Mirage Sessions being what it is inspires so little hope that this is one SMT #ShillMegamiTensei (I) won't be buying. #SoulHackersBad

Soul Hackers 2 Producers & Directors Eiji Ishida and Mitsuru Hirata. The two were leads on Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. Both very vaguely teased something they were working on at the start of 2018. #SoulHackers2 would be it: personacentral.com/4gamer-2017-re

Happy holidays, no matter which one you celebrate. If you're receiving gifts this season, I hope you got great ones! (Once again, we now return to our infrequently scheduled Twitter posting.)

Quite a while ago, I helped edit a few of Once More's scenes. It was a pleasure to work with the team the few times I did, and I'm definitely eager to see what the rest of its plot entails! #vndev #renpy

I've thought about making videos during my free time, but it gives me anxiety. The main series I'm thinking of are: - One where I dissect VNs. - Lectures on story writing / editing (drawing on my work experience but using popular things as examples). - Analyzing MegaTen.

Two reasons: - They're a very versatile medium, and one capable of challenging us in so many ways (emotionally, intellectually, and/or physically). - When I was young and sickly, they helped me pass the time. When I was older and went through difficulties, they helped me escape.

Why does making games matter to you? I’m genuinely curious if you just love code, art, etc or you believe games matter and help people, or it’s your preferred story medium, or any other reasons you have 😀 #indiegame #gamedev #indiegamedeveloper

Whether mourning or celebrating this year, I hope my countrymen have the best Canada Day they can. Reflecting on our ancestors' mistakes / wanting a better tomorrow is valid - but so is celebrating our present-day freedom / diversity. Frankly, I plan to do both as best I can.
These panels are based on a true story—a story about a man who dreamt of eating a VERY nice sandwich. Spoilers: He did, but only after work was over and edits were made. (I'm not funny, but I promise certain parts of Creator's Life are.)

Since I have bills to pay this month: two weeks, SMTV... Two weeks... Hopefully we get a half-decent CE this time. Also Metroid Dread. I don't usually pre-order, but my hype for both is IMMENSE. (I'm actually considering streaming SMT 1 and/or 2 if I can find the time!)

Set your alarm - pre-orders for #SMT5 begin Monday, 6/21 at 9AM PT! You won't want to miss this... 😈 twitter.com/NintendoAmeric…

Something about that expression, mane of dark hair, and red shirt seems awfully familiar... (Pleasure to help out with this comic, as always!)

TwoDog is unavailable this week because of work - and possibly next week as well. We'll be making up for it tomorrow afternoon at noon EST. I'll also be streaming on Thurs/Fri to make up for it - but I'm unsure of what to play. Help?

My co-host has informed me that our Persona 3 streams will be at noon EST on Thursdays and Fridays, barring any issues / delays on his end. Unfortunately, I'm still too busy to start any streams of my own.

At around 12:00 EST today, I'll be co-commentating a friend's Persona 3 FES stream (link to follow). I'll also be starting a challenge run of P3P (with friends) once my work schedule is cleared off. This time, I intend to finish. Work will be done this evening and weekend.

Have just learned that Famicom Detective Club has proper UI scaling in hand-held (that is, it's readable to someone with my eye problems). It seems some dreams come true after all!

So in short, most CRTC regulations (incl. C-10): - Deny our freedom to choose what we consume—both citizens and businesses. - Promote some media over others. - Stifle talks about "useful" media. - Fail to do what they set out to. In fact, it's often the opposite. [4/4]
Show this thread
The CRTC's rules are often arbitrary. They don't protect "Canadian culture" in the slightest (esp. when the government touts us as a multicultural society). They're easy enough to game that Canadian media sometimes fails to meet regulations while "foreign" media passes [3/4].

Bill C-10 is vague, but extends the CRTC's (Canadian FCC's) powers to streaming and internet media. This denies Canadians a right to choose what they consume, while prioritizing some media over others (as is the case with current reuglations for radio, TV, and film) [2/4].
