Why first responders, of all people, would refuse to vaccinate, I cannot fathom. They are on the front lines, often caring for the most vulnerable people in our health care system. By not vaccinating, they put themselves and their families at risk—and all the rest of us.

Curious whether you were able to look at COVID-19 numbers at the jails/where the 21 sheriff deputies are stationed. This could pose a serious health risk for imprisoned folks and would not be cured by a 10-day suspension.

To all commenters cheering on this, hope you remember that when your house catches on fire, or when you get a burglar breaking into your house. Remember cheering on firemen getting fired for simply wanting to make their own choice about their medical treatment.
