    Thank you for your concern. I usually work on sexual abuse cases. I only provide legal support for causes I believe in and all my legal support and any on-ground support that I provide is PRO-BONO. I have never charged anyone and dnt intend to. Hope that assuages your “concerns.”

    Anti CAA protestors should beware of lutyens lawyers who are very eager to help. They are only looking for juicy clients to fleece. Once legal gymnastics start you will be fleeced with endless adjournments from the courts. Ask them to spend 100% to check if they are genuine.

    After being released I went to the protest site to sit w/the women, exercising my fundamental right to peacefully protest against NRC & CAA + help others w/legal concerns. I care about safeguarding our Constitution. I am a law-abiding citizen & wont cower to intimidation tactics.

    I went to Nagpada police station after getting SOS msgs asking for lawyers to help free detainees taken unlawfully. Despite showing my legal license and having engaged in no unlawful activities, to my complete shock - I was targeted and detained along w/ other detainees.

    Human Rights Lawyer is being illegally detained by the at the Nagpada Police Station. She had gone there to help the protestors held for protesting against CAA/NRC. The police is charging her & threatening her.

    I am a lawyer. I’m aware that jurisdiction doesn’t matter and that police can’t deny filing FIR. Which is why I am tweeting at . It’s unacceptable that this is where we are at. Cops beating up women with impunity.

    Senior PI Ragini at Deonar Station unlawfully refused to take cognisance of the offence. kindly take note that two stations thus far have unlawfully denied filing an FIR against your officer who allegedly beat up a woman. There are multiple eye witnesses!!!

    We are now being forced to go back to the same station whr officer who allegedly roughed up the girl & the other officers who detained them are present. Pls advise on how best to proceed.Refusal to file an FIR citing jurisdiction/ tht they wnt register FIR against cops is illegal
