There are some conversation excerpts in that article that seem purposely framed to make him look bad, like the part where he tries to explain how archetypal categories like witches and dragons are meaningful.

Granted, he doesn't have a very good grasp on the variety of feminine archetypes other than Mother (based on the many lectures I've watched)

I'd argue his grasp of Mother is a bit lacking as well, to be honest...
If anything, Peterson has joined a long-standing tradition of brilliant psychology professors taking their ideas into a wider social context...
