I know exactly what I shouldn't be eating, and then my brain says "eff it, you're stressed, gorge on that sugary fatty thing." Planning to put up some resistance soon... hah, yeah right.

Well, it's not exactly easy to eat healthy (mind you, I generally tend to think most fat, or rather fatty foods, is fine).
With how much we've deregulated food production (or dysregulated it, rather), it's also extremely difficult to find actually healthy "healthy" foods.

I think Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers had a section on sugar craving and stress, but I may be wrong.
It certainly had a lot on weight gain caused by stress.

Yes, I've tried varying levels of low carb diet in the past and it mostly works for me, so fat isn't too bad. But once I'm stressed and the carbs get their foot in the door its all over.
