Pro tip: if underarm odor refuses to yield to deodorant, try a different deodorant.
If that doesn't work, wipe underarms with an antibacterial hand wipe and allow to dry before applying deodorant.
Also works for feet!

Cleaning underarms regularly with any kind of actually antibac thing and shaving the hairs a bit seems to obviate the need for deodorant for many, too.
