The next time you catch your reflection in a mirror, ask yourself who is staring at whom.
If this causes a jolt of dislocation, nausea, vertigo or such, that's a small taste of enlightened awareness. Some conceptions of it, anyway.
Either that, or you have catoptrophobia.

All this talk of letting go, choiceless awareness, having no preference, seeing what is, and you could boil all of it down to just a bit of tension.
When awareness isn't tensing around something, constricting towards it, nothing really feels like you.
Or everything does. YMMV.

I'd like to do a post riffing off Wittgenstein a bit and talk about some of the language games surrounding enlightenment and meditation and how utterly irrelevant they are.
But I think I may need to soak a bit more in this feeling before I give it a try.
