Humans should count ourselves lucky that we have yet to encounter a more powerful species.
The various sophistries we use to justify how we treat other animals and each other... we embody everything we accuse others of but worse.

Nature dictates violence, Its intelligence that dictates respect. So aliens more advanced would be more respectfull, that doesnt mean that they would not exploit us though.

Tell that to a dog.
And yes, there is every probability they would if they could.

Dogs are violent no? Dogs kill cats for sport, cats kill mice for sport etc. Its Nature. To be nice to an outsider is unnatural, moreover to do so without trying bring him inside your circle is outside human nature.

Humans are extremely violent, much more so than any other species on the planet. That we industrialize a lot of our violence won't alter that.
Dogs, as well as many other pack animals, have a much stronger sense of respect than humans. That was my point.

No I dont think so. Humans have learned to check their violence. Dogs respect their own. Its like all those mafia characters with an overweight value to family- their family - not anyone elses family, those are fair game. Hardly a healthy attitude.

I agree there isn't anything healthy about a dog's attachment to family (except, perhaps, to the dog).
I just think you were straining definitions a bit in your original point.

I think there is a corelation of inteligence with respect of the other. Low inteligence focuses on inner circle a utilitarian instinct, While a higher inteligence respects the other equaly as a chance of expanding the self.
