Well the booze certainly is!!!! A shot of Absolut vodka at this hotel bar is just 2€ versus, wait for it, 6 € at the same hotel chain in Paris!!

I dunno, I recall paying like $8 for a draft beer in Norway, & that was back in 1998

If you go to Oslo, you can allegedly expect to pay more than 100 kr for a beer these days at most SEEDY bars, to say nothing of the fucking clubs.

Vors. From German. And yes, for the low price of (more than drinking out costs in most European countries), you can drink at home with your friends. Not that Norwegians can't afford it. But y'know.
