To equate nibbana with "enlightenment" is a misunderstanding. If we think nibbana is is something that can happen to us, we haven't understood it at all. 4/

The mistake is thinking "awakening", "waking up" & "enlightenment" even should connotate the same way to different people.
Nothing else works like that. There are always more entailments.
