For not wanting to believe in bogus ideas, people sure seem to believe neuroscience has solved a lot of problems it hasn't, actually.

I see all kinds, though the methods differ. The most consistent theme is believing any of the philosophical arguments (qualia, computational theory of mind, what have you) belong in the same category as long-standing, well-replicated research... which they don't.

People treat it like a sort of buffet of ideas where you can find scientifically accurate explanations for broader mental phenomena, which it... also isn't. It's too underdeveloped for that.
