For not wanting to believe in bogus ideas, people sure seem to believe neuroscience has solved a lot of problems it hasn't, actually.

People treat it like a sort of buffet of ideas where you can find scientifically accurate explanations for broader mental phenomena, which it... also isn't. It's too underdeveloped for that.

There are plenty of people who don't, but it's a very notable tendency in those skeptical of spiritual traditions and their established ideas. I'm not saying *those* are valid, but it seems to me the counterevidence should be better than conjecture based off pop neuroscience.
