Epistemology is best developed in science. That doesn't mean random pet theories (no, not theories in the technical sense) are useful. They're mostly crap.

I see all kinds, though the methods differ.
The most consistent theme is believing any of the philosophical arguments (qualia, computational theory of mind, what have you) belong in the same category as long-standing, well-replicated research... which they don't.
