Almost all the Really Determined people I know carry this air of quiet desperation about them, as if they're afraid to get too worked up about anything.
Like big men with gentle hearts, scared to use their strength.

I suppose it makes sense, if you know "I want to do this" is synonymous with "I will do this", but for someone like me who sometimes struggles with motivation it looks so absurd.
Then, when the brakes come off, I sometimes understand a little better.
