(Norwegian is even better, but I tend not to assume anyone speaks or wants to learn it.)
I don't speak German, but I'm learning to read it. Yes, I love the way they build nouns like legos. Is it the same in Norwegian?

The same, but with even fewer rules.
And natives can do it completely intuitively, which still boggles my mind about my otherwise very simple native language.
