Does any culture have a word for something like... amused disdain? Or does English have it and I'm being dense here?

Ah, thanks! Sardonic is the right descriptor, yes, but- ah, I forgot sardonicism is a word. Silly me.
In Norwegian the noun version of an adjective is just the base form of the adjective, so I forget -ism et al. exist sometimes.

Yiddish vocab, despite my near-total ignorance of it, always seems to strike the right chord for me. So, I think, yeah.
Greek probably also has a word for it. Similar sense of humor.
