I grew up with guns: hunting, disassembling, cleaning. Reloading shells, shooting skeet, targets, cooking & eating game. I was born to this shit.

As an outsider, I don't even think the 2nd amendment is that awful, considering the proclivities of the federal govt. - but interpreting it as "unmitigated access to assault weapons and military-grade ammunition" is complete insanity in any modality, and the US is in HARD denial.
