Now that I know a bit more about you, I'll thread it:
- I am a complete spiritual eclectic. I use theravada, zen, yoga-I-don't-fully-understand, western magick and philosophy interchangably. This pisses off certain buddhists, because I refuse to speak only their language.

- I think much of buddhist ontology, and much of the core philosophy of vajrayana and mahayana in particular, is deeply fucked and abusive, and this REALLY pisses off certain buddhists. I can understand why, but I don't particularly care.

- A lot of the things I say about spirituality or meditation are no doubt a bit stupid or silly, but buddhists in particular tend to respond with passive-aggressive comments or unfollowing, whereas others ten to either engage, ignore or go "don't be a moron", essentially.

- Lastly, if you ever talk to certain buddhists about anything related to the various attainments and states - jhanas, stream-entry, what have you - you open pandora's box. This is strongly, strongly hated by certain people.

That I've only ever had this experience with buddhists & people-who-don't-know-how-to-talk-about-politics, not people interested in philosophy, magick or yoga, vedantins and so on, colours how I choose to talk about it.
