In all seriousness, I've often been a good teacher at basic stuff, since I had to learn it in detail. But as has pointed out to me, I'd quite possibly make a terrible meditation teacher - because I have no idea what I'm doing, but somehow manage very well regardless.

Yeah, well, I was more poking fun at myself than holding you responsible for my supposed-lack-of-aptitude. I do think my attitude might be a slight problem, though, for like 95% of all students. I can be... harsh.

I am usually gentle and cozy in person, but somehow (things I perceive as) BS around meditation etc. really grinds my gears. I think it's all the fraud and fluff, in the West especially but really just everywhere.

The only stuff that really gets my knickers in a twist is harmful stuff. Practices or philosophies which can damage practitioners or people around them. Unfortunately, it's hard to know what all of that is.

I have yet to meet a non-enlightened practitioner who wasn't knee-deep in the stuff, barring a few with exceptional teachers. Lot more ways to do bad...
