Probably gonna give one of my teachers an aneurysm one way or the other, but I'm really enjoying The End of Your World by Adyashanti for perspective on awakening.
About a third of the way through and have yet to encounter something I haven't had direct experience of before.

I strongly disagree with the metaphysical statements, mostly on principle, but if you can get past that the actual groundwork is really, really solid.
