I honestly don’t get why the ‘guns don’t kill people, people kill people’ analogy - where it’s flawed - isn’t applied to capitalism - where it is appropriate in the context of needless suffering.

I imagine it's for a similar reason as why the "but it wasn't TRUE communism" apology isn't criticized when it's used to defend capitalism.
