Hee hee. I had a feeling you were going to do something like this when you bought those Fyreslayers.
Which, I'm only on my Kharadron after my Stormcast after my Dark Eldar after my 30k Word Bearers, eyeing the Custodes, none of them remotely finished, so I can't possibly relate.

Yeah, as unoriginal as it is, my 1st step was to try Fyreslayer heads and weapons on Arkanauts, but it just looked off. That's why I tried the classic dwarf stuff instead, but I'm not a fan of it. I'll likely stick to the base models, as soon as I can tackle a belt buckle again.

As you said, the Kharadron are just too unique a flavour. Irondrakes would probably be your best bet for conversions from the regular range.
