Taking apart an LED filament lightbulb… LED strings in series in pairs, otherwise not a lot in there; 4 components other than the LEDs, I think.

Heh, tbh this was more about smashing stuff up than anything technical! But it looks as though building custom LED filament circuits should be pretty simple. Could make for some pretty creations ☺

Hm. I'd try that out for painting my miniatures, but I've just bought a fancy LED lamp with adjustable lighting levels etc. etc., so pointless right now.

That's probably a better option in terms of convenience/not catching fire/etc.
