It's great to develop critical thinking skills and analytical ability, but:
A) Ideology isn't all bad.
B) Those abilities can be used selectively.

Finally, rejecting paradigms and ideologies can prevent you becoming too partisan, but it won't stop you being uncritical towards your own ideas.
