Fucking New Year.
Me and the wife have been taking care of a crippled pidgeon (he lost parts of his legs to some wires). He comes to our window for food every day.
Now he's suddenly gone. Worried he had a heart attack yesterday, like so many animasl.

Going to go out with some seeds and see if I can find him, but honestly not too hopeful.
If he just got scared and is hiding somewhere, he's probably not somewhere I can see or reach.

No luck. Saw a lot of raggedy-looking pidgeons, but my eyes don't have a very good zoom function so...

He might. We were away yesterday, but I think they were setting fireworks on the lawn outside. No birds here now, so good chance they decided to fuck off for the day.
