He clearly has adopted a more focused rhetorical strategy that has been effective, if not as solid as his pre-fame work. A part of taking the opportunity presented to him to be a public figure, for better or worse.

That’s fair, his ideas on campus ideology predate his fame. What I think I was getting at was now that he’s a public figure, everybody wants to know his take on “everything else,” so the situation you described gets worse.

I don't think he's stupid by any stretch of the imagination, but he does seem to be a bit too confident in his non-psych ideas.
