Logically, mix the best parts of either culture by brewing my coffee in a moka pot and drinking the entire thing, neat, in a big cup.

I used a moka pot for a while. It was a ‘3 cup’ pot, which made one mug pure rocket fuel.
I mostly use a French press at present, unless I’m at a good coffee shop, where I’ll get it as recommended by the bearded hipster woman behind the counter.
