Something told me once: sometimes there is a feeling that, in itself, is not too bad - but another, subtler feeling poisons it.
Conversation
Experienced this now in a weird way. Something had been bothering me for ages. Resolved itself, and I suddenly feel completely different.

Not just in a particular area or in general feeling, but in attitude towards more or less everything that had anything to do with that issue.

But it wasn't a big, bothersome thing - it was this tiny, niggling issue that got worked out of the system - and that made all the difference.
This all feeds into yoga and other contemplative practice not being about feeling great all the time, but being fine with feeling bad.

The issue isn't that you're sad - it's that you're ashamed of being sad. It's not that you're angry - it's that you're afraid of that anger.
