Why not question the worthiness of humanity itself? Maybe consider men as just exploitable laborers & soldiers & women as just breeders for more men. What use has capitalism for either? Isn't that what 'tax cuts for the rich' is all about?

Education began long before that era (unless you have some other, more oblique point). But it has a three-pronged trajectory: crafts, distinguishment of class and esoterism. Only one is about creating workers.
