Research seems to indicate a whole clusterfuck of interactions b/w neuroticism, openness (as in big 5) and IQ. Eventually, maybe?

I'd even argue that the g factor derived from IQ research is likely to model onto some function of those 3 + other traits.

IQ itself seems to be a highly flawed construct, more like an emergent property of multiple trait than a trait-in-itself.
