From my perspective, though, I will say that much of it has just been learning not to give a fuck.

Some are. Others just work better for some than for others.

That said, plenty of selfish & highly effective people need a massive injection of love-for-all to function without exploiting their peers.

If your path is utterly dependent on a certain reality tunnel and denies all others, maybe it isn't a path as much as an ideology. :)
