"Green" groups already did this with nuclear power and I think the best evidence is that had a huge cost.

Sure, but some issues supercede others in priority as well. Do you feel nuclear power is vindicated by entire regions being depopulated?

The Japs are covering up that their disaster has also had a similar effect. The aftershocks will outlive the beneficiaries by centuries.

I think the biggest aftershock may be Germany etc retiring their near zero-CO2 nukes and upping their dirty coal use.

They could go solar or any number of other options. This is about export income, not environment or tech.
