In the Nordic countries, women are frequently taller, even stronger, than men from other regions. Male-female height difference negligible.

Even if vikings worshipped typical macho traits, it would still make sense that women were better integrated with that part of society.

(And all that said, a lot of those things seem overblown. History is so many interpretations on top of so many assumptions on scarce proof.)
