I think it goes **far** deeper than that. There are aspects of the left that make it far more vulnerable to button-tweaking than the right.

I'm not trying to start a movement. I started this deep dive into twitter initially b/c people were begging for to make changes that…

...they could have done themselves via fully using the existing twitter mechanisms, though these were not readily apparent.

It is difficult to expose the problems I see with the left (as it involves twitter use) in a form which is both clear yet not insulting.

It's quite possible I'm just delusional, but as I saw it the tragedies in Charlottesville showed left & right escalating the situation...

...and given those I follow (mostly people on the left) it seemed to me that the left escalation was horrendous. ...

Just from an optics viewpoint, it seemed to me that the people at the rally 'won' Friday night, even through things as subtle as word choice

The problem is the left lacks a central goal. I would not equivocate them, but antifa is reactive. Nazis leave, antifa pack up for the day.
The Alt Right are already strategizing about their next moves, with their opsec for edgelords methodology.
Left is... absent. Just absent.

There is no crime in beating up a bunch of Nazis, as I see it, except it's generally a waste of time.
Not a good time to be wasting time.
