In reading criticism of what I've written, exasperation seems to be the feeling most correlated w/fair criticism (or poor phrasing).

Anger or defensive shit, OTOH, almost always seems to imply that something useful was said. Trolling is 50/50, but depends on the topic.

People rarely get angry if you are simply wrong, unless they are very temperamental or they believe you are *dangerously* wrong.

Far more frequently encounter is anger marshalled to defend an indefensible position, or an indefensible justification for said position.

People who believe you're wrong in a way that is just stupid, OTOH, tend to go "duuuude, that's just dumb," some way or another.
